On a walk into town from the caravan park I spotted this beach. I thought it was oddly named and presumed it had a shark net. It got it's name because it used to have a shark net before the sea pool was built.
It has lots of rock shelves with rock pools and amazing shells. We walked along the beach and looked at the beautiful shells and explored the rock pools. Little miss was a worried that we were going the wrong way back, so we walked back along the path rather than along the beach.
We did come across what looked like a washed up puffer fish. It looked like it got caught on the rocks and the tide went out. Little miss wanted to pick it up and take it home to eat. I don't think it was an eating kind of fish.
I was amazed at the honeycomb pattern on the rocks. It was fascinating to see the patterns formed I presume by the sea
