To See In NSW - Bowen Historical Museum

We got here just before it closed so we didn't get as much time through as I would've liked. I was glad they let us have a look through. There were heaps of different displays with heaps of information. Little miss loved the ride on horse, she thought it looked like fun. She was also quite fascinated with the bassinettes and thought they looked lovely.

The best part for me was the old house. They pulled it down and moved it to the site, rebuilding it would've been difficult making sure they had it just right. I was explaining to little miss about not having electricity or running water inside, she thought the idea of a chamber pot to be very surprising. It was surprisingly cool in the house, it was amazing to see how small it was and all the different old machines.
