I was surprised that there was a massive hill right in the middle of town, but it has the most amazing views of the town and surrounds and well worth the drive. It was kind of hidden, and it wasn't until we got to the bottom of the hill that we could see it. The lookout is right at the very top of the hill, but we did go past it and have to turn around and go back.
A bit further down the hill (about half way) is another playground (Apex Park). We didn't stop there, as we'd spent a fair amount of time at the playground near the big peanut.
