When we arrived at Evans Head I had already sussed out what shops were within walking distance. Muzza's Milk Bar was amazing. It had lollies like my Dad sold in his shop ( a very long time ago), but boy have the prices increased. They had a great selection of flavours and I decided to ask for a toddler size instead of a kids size, hoping it would be just right for little miss.
The first time we order just the one for little miss (rainbow) and it was the perfect size. The first time she's eaten the entire cone. Next visit I knew that I'd need my own.
The flavours we tried:
Rainbow
Strawberry
Lemon sorbet (tried twice)
Apple sorbet
Lemon Lime Sorbet
Watermelon
Raspberry Sorbet (tried twice)
Mango
When I write out all the flavours we tried it looks like a lot. At $2 a toddler cone, I didn't feel too guilty having them. Each time we each picked a flavour, we taste tested both flavours. The raspberry sorbet wasn't a great choice for little miss, she was covered in pink for a while. It came off a few days later, but she did look like she'd tried to put lip stick on.
