To See In NSW - The Peach Farm

We saw the sign for the Peach Farm as we drove past on the highway. A quick google search and I knew we had to have a visit.  I wasn't sure as we drove down this dirt road, but when we got there it was rows and rows of fruit trees. There was a little cafe with some beautiful food and a shop with locally made items.  We went through to the animals and got 1 of each type of food bags (there were 2 types). The pony was front and centre (smart little thing) so we started there.

Some of the animals were really bold, the sheep climbing up and pushing each other out of the way to get fed. Others little the baby goats weren't really sure about being fed yet.  The baby goats shook their heads as they ate, absolutely adorable.  The pigs you couldn't hand feed (don't want fingers nibbled) and before we got there little miss was very sure she wanted a pig (when we settle again) but after seeing the goats I think she's changed her mind. I also don't think she realised how big pigs got.

The peacocks were amazing to watch but didn't come too close. We fed the ducks and chickens for ages, little miss thought it was funny when they pecked the bird seed out of her hands. I have to admit it was even better than I had expected, we really had a lovely time.

After feeding the animals we washed our hands and had some morning tea.  The food was delicious. They had heaps of outdoor seating and toys for the kids to play with. They even had spoonville, wooden spoons decorated by children and stuck into the ground.

They do a pick your own peaches, which would've been good fun to do. But we were a few weeks too early and the peaches weren't ready yet.
