To See In NSW - Yamba

We couldn't miss out on a visit to Yamba, after being able to see if from the lookout at ILUKA.  When we arrived we were too late to visit the markets (second trip was in store).  The markets are on a Wednesday, near Whiting Beach.

Instead we walked down the breakwall, all the way to the end.  It was a long walk to the end of the breakwall.  Most of it was paved, until the last little bit.  Little miss started getting a bit tired at the end.  Some people had seen dolphins swimming in the river side, but we didn't see them.

We did see an Osprey take off.  I had no idea what an Osprey was, but a lovely person told us what it was and we looked it up (great learning moment).  We made it all the way to the end and Jamie stood on the rocks right at the end.  The view of the lighthouse was amazing.

On our way back Little miss had a little play on Whiting Beach before lunch at, you guessed it the fish co-op. Locally caught fish, yum.

We did visit again a week later (to make it in time for the markets). There was a great selection of local products, it was lovely to see.  We had another visit to Whiting beach, I don't think I will ever get sick of the beach. We took a picnic and had a picnic on the beach.
