I saw a little sign pointing to a lookout and thought it would be perfect for a sunrise photo shoot. I was a little slow to start with, but made it with plenty of time to spare. When I parked in the car park I watched a couple make a made dash up the path. I giggled to myself, thinking there was no way I was running along such an uneven path. I'm clumsy and trip on flat ground so took it easy. I loved the birdlife and they were so noisy. I stopped to admire them on the way to the cliff top. By the time I got to the top I had 10 minutes until the sun rose up above the clouds. This is my favourite time, the sky looks beautiful.
The path loops around and you get a great view of the ocean as well as Boambee Creek. There are benches placed along the path over looking the ocean.
