Wondering what we have packed ready to take with us on our Outback Adventure? This is the breakdown of costs for us to set ourselves up to be able to camp.
- Tent (quick set up, 4 man tent) $129
- Chairs (one each) already owned
- Table already owned
- Fridge $700
- Bedding $60
- Induction Cooktop $49
- Toilet (including additives) $127
- Lighting $26
- Storage $34
- Kitchen $15
- Misc $100
- Collapsible Bath already owned
- Laundry already owned
Total spend $1240
I feel like we have set ourselves up pretty well, but time will tell if we have forgotten anything. We are going to be staying at caravan parks with powered sites the entire time, obviously if you're free camping you may have a slightly different setup to us.
We do have the added advantage of having a fair amount of the things that we need already. We were planning on getting a fridge for when Jamie goes camping with the boys, the bonus being we can take it away with us.
