We tried a few different ice cream shops in and around Coffs Harbour, because.. well why not?
First was Tango Juice Bar & Ice-creamery in Woolgoolga
Jamie and Little miss had ice creams from here while I got my hair done, and because they raved at how good it was we went back for me to taste test as well. They had some interesting flavours, some I'd never heard of before.
Flavours we tried:
- Rainbow
- Chocolate orange
- Rocky Road
- Peppermint
They were really delicious ice creams, and decent serving sizes as well.
Next we tried some ice creams from Ridgey Didge Pies in Park Beach Plaza (in the food court). They had a really good selection of flavours as well as pies (but we weren't there for the pies).
Flavours we tried:
- Bubblegum
- Apple Crumble
- Blood Orange Sorbet
- Lemon Sorbet
Last we tried Rafa's Cafe, I saw the sign that said they had ice creams when I went to the chemist. They were really decently priced, $3.50 for a single scoop and $5 for a double scoop.
Flavours we tried:
- Honey
- Rainbow
- Boysenberry
Apparently the honey ice cream won awards, and I can tell you it was absolutely delicious. I am a bit of a honey lover, so I wasn't surprised I loved it.
