To See NSW - Forster Beach

This is an incredible beach.  The first sunrise I got to watch a pod of about 20 dolphins swimming around. A few locals told me that the dolphins often swim with the surfers. Absolutely amazing.

Scotts Head is famous for it's surfing (apparently), and we aren't surfers but every day there were plenty of people out catching waves. The waves did crash down quite close to shore, so instead of swimming up the end with the entrance from the caravan park we swam down the end near the surf club. The water was amazing and Jamie and little miss loved swimming in the water. Little miss then decided that sand angels were fun, and needed to rinse off in the surf again.

There's heaps of beautiful shells to discover on this beach, of all different sizes. There is a huge amount of dry sand and plenty of space to build sand castles and do sand angels (not as fun as they sound).

This is quite a long beach, and it has multiple entrances from the caravan park.  This is a beach we visited a lot while in Scotts Head
