To See In NSW - Huskisson Beach

This is a beautiful beach with spectacular coloured water. I was amazed every time I looked at the water even when we had rain clouds threatening to rain and it was still a magnificent colour. I've never seen water this amazingly coloured. There were a quite a few rock shelves and rock pools along the beach. I even got to see a new bird, a great cormorant, on a rock shelf.

We looked over the water to the lighthouse at Point perpendicular. Seeing the lighthouse made me want to go exploring to find POINT PERPENDICULAR LIGHTHOUSE, so we did.

It has some soft sand and incredible shells. We had a great time exploring the rock pools. We didn't see any surf lifesaving patrols but the beach had only small waves and plenty of people who were swimming. They even had a beach wheelchair available for hire.
