We had a great time exploring the history of port Macquarie. This is a fabulous museum with a number of different rooms to explore. Little miss was quite fascinated with the old well and wanted to throw a coin down into it like other people had. The window display with the old toys was amazing and there were a lot of things that little miss had no idea about.
The old clothes were spectacular, and they've gone to great lengths to preserve them keeping them protected from the light.
This museum gave a real insight into the history of port Macquarie and I'm glad we got to explore and learn a little even if little miss didn't want me to read all the signs

- Little miss wasn't interested in letting me read
- Little miss had never seen a real gun and I don't think she believed me when I showed her
- Little miss had no idea what a well was
- That didn't stop her wanting throw a coin in

- Some models look like fairies houses
