To See NSW - Smoky Cape Lighthouse

While visiting TRIAL BAY GAOL we thought we should visit Smoky Cape Lighthouse. It was only a short drive from Trial Bay Gaol and well worth the drive. The road up to the lighthouse is windy and you can catch glimpses of the lighthouse and it looks amazing.

When you get to the bottom it has a steep path up to the lighthouse. It's worth it to go all the way to the top. The view is beautiful. We did wear sensible shoes today (I planned ahead this time) which made the walk up much easier.

Little miss happily walked to the top, by the time we got to the top she was hungry. The walk down was a little more whinny, but who can blame a hungry kid. After the lighthouse it was a quick trip to South West Rocks for lunch. We did get to see some beautiful butterflies dancing along the plant on the edge of the path
