Week 19 Recap

This week was mainly used as the time to clean out the camper trailer and restock it for the next leg of our journey (if you missed Week 18 recap). After being on the road for 4 months, like most people we had gathered treasures and had a mix of things we didn't use or need so we needed to get into the camper trailer and sort it all out.

We stored our camper trailer at family's house so we opened it up on the front lawn and sorted everything.  It was also good to get in and have a look at the repairs that were done. We do also have Christmas coming up, so I had to make sure all the things for Christmas had been put in their sneaky cupboards so they won't get found before the day. We also watched the video on how to put the camper trailer up, and I've been doing it wrong for 4 months. No wonder it was a bit harder than it needed to be. While we were cleaning and repacking I put the camper trailer up like the video, and it was much easier. Jamie was driving back to Nanna's house with Little miss in the back and he was telling her how great a dad he was. When he stopped for petrol he got her a Kinder surprise. When he was telling me later, he told me how she was saying all these lovely things for about 10 minutes before he stopped for petrol. I just laughed when he said she buttered him up and that's probably why he bought her the chocolate.

Little miss spent a long time playing outside at Nanna's house, she spent more time outside than inside. I guess when you get used to being outside all the time it just makes more sense to be there. We did have to come inside on the really hot days but there weren't many of them while we were visiting. Little miss had a lovely time playing with Nanna, I think Nanna had a less fun time playing especially when she was dragged into the cubby house.

Before we left on our big adventure we were living in Sydney with Nanna.  I had purchased a membership to the SYDNEY ZOO so while it was still in date and we were there we decided to visit and test out our new wagon.

On the way back from the zoo Little miss picked out unicorn cupcakes and sultanas. I think she only chose the packet because it had a pink cockatoo on it like she saw at BILLABONG ZOO.

While we were back in Sydney we took the opportunity to see our family that we haven't seen for quite a while (and we all missed). It's been hardest on Little miss not being able to see our friends and family as much as we could before (pre Covid 19).

We did lots of swimming in Nanna's pool, it was lovely not to have to share with anyone.
