At the top of the lookout there are lots of places capture
the stunning view and watch the wildlife below. Walking down some stairs you
can easily get to the bottom to view Australia Rock. It was nice when we visited
during the day time, although I did have to wait for a bit because some people
were climbing through it to take a photo (not sure I’d be game to do it).
When I went to take photos at sunrise, it was spectacular
and well worth the time spent waiting for that perfect photo. You can walk
along the break wall, we didn’t because of the weather, and you can often see
seals sleeping on the break wall.
Ï loved being able to look out to Montague Island from the lookout, although we didn't get a chance to visit we hope to get back to Narooma again one day.
This is an astounding rock formation
- The view from the lookout in incredible
- This is a must see rock formation if you're visiting Narooma
- Sunrise is a great time to visit
- It’s a bit annoying when people climb through it
- The stairs make it easy to see different aspects of the lookout and rock
