Week 32 Recap

The end is insight (if you missed Week 31 recap). I’m so excited that were finally going to have a caravan. Its also going to be nice to be back to normal with our little family and we can get back to normal. First job is to get the electric brakes sorted on the Poppy paTROLL. After a few phone call I was booked in with Michael at Electroworx. He was fantastic, if you’re in Sydney and need an auto electrician I highly recommend them. Michael was very patient explaining everything to me and answering all my questions (there were a lot) and when he left I have to admit I was really happy with how professional the panel is.

With limited time left, we organised another play date at the second cousin’s house. Little miss had a fabulous time running around playing with all the toys. It makes it so much more enjoyable when the kids get on and you don’t have to referee fights all the time. They made a huge mess, I'm sure every toy was tipped out but they had fun doing it.

Up again for a quick trip to Coffs Harbour for little miss to go to preschool and to drop some things off at a friends house. Jamie came up to do some work on his truck with his friend. We drove up in the Cookie Monster, and after being in Poppy paTROLL it was really uncomfortable in comparison. We did drive up a lot quicker with Jamie driving, and not stopping for as long as we did last week.

After dropping little miss off at preschool Jamie went and played with his truck and I went for a walk to the shops. The mall was 10km away, and after I walked about 3.4km I decided it was smarter to catch the bus in. A small detour later and I was waiting at what I thought was the bus stop. After wandering around the mall (making sure I didn’t buy too much) I walked back to the bus stop to wait for the bus. Jamie ended up finishing up with his truck and came and picked me up again, before picking little miss up from preschool. She was so tired she ended up curling up on the couch with Jamie and falling asleep.

Little miss was excited for another day of preschool and we had a date day wandering the camping stores and seeing what else we would need for our new caravan. Jamie had the brilliant idea of seeing if our caravan was in Coffs Harbour, and we went through everything without little miss distracting us. We picked little miss up early and headed back to Sydney. It was a long drive back and thankfully the last time we have to do the drive up and back in the week.

With only a few days before we head to Coffs Harbour we headed to Canberra for a CHICKEN PARTY. We got to spend the day shopping, and little miss got to try on her flower girl dress.  Aunty did have to chase her down the corridor to get her dress off her, but the high heels slowed her down. Little miss had a great time playing and her toys all ended up going to TRIAL BAY GAOL, but left her with no toy to cuddle at bedtime (they weren't allowed out). Little miss loves a good sleep over and is normally a party animal (she has massive FOMO), Aunty offered her one of the cousins toy snakes to cuddle at bedtime. She declared it was too scary to sleep with and decided the happy poo was a better choice. She was out like a light. That gave Aunty and I a chance to go over some wedding plans and make the vinyl stickers (best sister ever).

With such a busy week ahead of us, we headed back to Sydney after we finished at the chicken party. We hadn’t even been on the road for 5 minutes and sure enough little miss was sound asleep. Luckily there was a petrol station up the road and I was able to get her out and keep her awake for the rest of the trip back. I was absolutely wiped by the time we got back, but we still had to pack the cars ready to leave in the morning. It was a lovely surprise that Jamie, Nanna and little miss had for me when I came inside. They had an early birthday cake and some pirate juice waiting for me, what more could I ask for.
