After visiting the markets we went for a walk,
following a path. It lead to the beach, proving all good paths will lead to the
beach. We went across a lovely bridge before going down on the soft sand at the
beach. This really is a lovely beach, there was plenty of sand to play on and
the waves weren't big. I believe that it's quite a popular beach. I've seen
carnivals being held on the beach and lots of people, on a nice day, swimming
around near the jetty.
Little miss found some treasure on the beach and instead of collecting
it, she buried it. I'm starting to think that she's part pirate. She also made
a sand volcano and drew pictures in the sand. There's something nice about sand
between your toes.
I loved how the waves crashed against the jetty, it was really
mesmerizing to watch. The clouds did look quite threatening, so we did head
back earlier than I would've liked. Lucky we did, it started to rain when we
were back in the car.
There was also a silver gull and tern colony at one end of the beach,
they were peacefully standing in a group. There was a small child that decided
to run through the colony of birds. This time it wasn't my child.
