Day 36 Calen
We arrived at the farm and I have to say I was pleasantly surprised. We were welcomed and settled in very quickly. We had the option to go for a walk around the farm, however little miss was far more interested in the toys, games and swing set. They had the sweetest farm dog, who loved pats and laying in the sun. They had a communal campfire in the evening and we came prepared with marshmallows and toasting sticks. One of the ladies helped little miss toast her marshmallows and it caught on fire. Little miss wasn't impressed. I lightly toasted the marshmallows and ate the crispy ones.

Day 37 Clairview
After stopping already in Mackay and Sarina we decided to stop in Clairview for something different. It was only a short drive, and I like being set up and ready for lunch. After being shown to our site, I started setting up (making sure our lead was long enough) before yet another GREEN ANT INCIDENT happened. We moved sites. One of the owners had suggested golf, with golf clubs available for kids. Little miss had a go before an old man told me to make sure she didn't damage the course (I'd already done that and was actively supervising her). And for the record she dug 0 holes. Afterwards we sat under the shelter and the old man didn't like her playing there (she wasn't doing anything terrible just playing with a couple of cushions that no one was sitting on, there were 4 people there) so we headed back to our tent. After dinner we headed down to someone elses campfire and asked to roast marshmallows over it.

Day 38 Rockhampton
With only a short drive to Rockhampton we got up early and arrived in no time. First stop was KERSHAW GARDENS after we couldn't visit last time in the wet. After checking in and setting up we decided to check out the splash park. It was icy cold and it didn't take long for little miss to want to have a go on the Go karts before playing on the playground and jumping pillow. The social little butterfly made friends with a little boy next door and they played together for ages.

Day 39 Yeppoon
In the morning we packed up and headed to the ROCKHAMPTION HERITAGE VILLAGE to explore. We had lunch at a cafe while we were out (a special treat for us) and headed out to the caravan park in the afternoon. After setting up we did the most sensible thing possible, we went exploring in the caravan park.
Day 40 Yeppoon
Little miss was awake early and I told her if she was awake early then we would go for SUNRISE PHOTOS, so we did. We had a busy day planned and headed out to the CAPRICORN CAVES. They had their FOSSIL DAY and we had a ball. We headed back to Yeppoon and went to the KEPPEL KRAKEN splash park that little miss thought was a bit cold, so we cooled down with ICE CREAM instead. We stopped past WRECK POINT to see what the views were like on a clear day. We had camping waffle cones for dessert.
Day 41 Yeppoon
Today we headed out to KOORANA CROCODILE FARM for a tour and a delicious lunch. The best part for us was holding the BABY CROCODILE. On the way back we stopped past the SINGING SHIP and it does sing. Lucky for us the ICE CREAM truck came through the caravan park, it might be winter but we've had some warm days and ice cream helps cools us down.

On the way to the to the Gemfields little miss was hungry so we stopped by a food truck on the side of the road in Duaringa. Apparently that was less scary than stopping in Dingo. When we arrived the kids on the site next door were feeding the lorikeets and little miss had to get in on that. They were so tame they would land on you.
