Our neighbours at the caravan pack (the ones supplying us with blueberries) told us about a walking track and a boardwalk that they found while exploring the area. I decided to go for a walk by myself one day to check it out. Sometimes I find it easier to check things out then I can see if its suitable for little miss to come with me.
We followed the track down the bottom of the caravan and across a small bridge, there were bucket loads of butterflies flying around it was amazing. The track goes around past the oval and sporting fields before another sign points down a track. The end of the track comes out at a boardwalk and you can either turn left or right (it goes in a loop). When I took little miss we turned right and followed it around. We even saw a sea bird perched in one of the trees. We went along the rickety boardwalk to a little lookout we bench seating.
You do need to watch the plants (they are a bit prickly) that over grow the path. I had one stick on tight to my pants, Little miss thought it was funny. We then followed the boardwalk along and you could keep on going straight or turn left. Little miss decided to go left which took us back to the track to go back.
The wildlife is amazing, but it would probably be wise to wear closed in shoes just in case of snakes. We didn't see any snakes (doesn't mean that there wasn't any) but we did see a lizard. There were lots of birds and butterflies they were amazing to watch dancing around the plants.
