Camp Cooking - Christmas Trifle

With Christmas fast approaching we thought we'd do a few things differently for dessert. Tonight I thought I'd give a quick trifle a go. We started with mini jam sponge rolls


Firstly I cut the mini jam sponge rolls roughly and added to the bowl


Add some peaches, these little fruit cups are great


You could make the jelly if you want but I find these pre made jellies just so easy


And I chose this custard purely because it was the smallest one I could buy


I added a very generous amount of custard


And added berries and some flake on top


I popped them in the fridge to set for a bit before enjoying them after dinner.

You can add some alcohol (pirate juice) to make them a little more merry
