Camp Cooking - Fish and Chips


When you've got limited cooking facilities, sometimes you just have to make do. Before we left to travel (back when we had a house) we would often cook fish and chips in the oven. We don't have an oven any more so now we have change how we cook.

Mrs meddler told me about some barramundi fish portions at Woolies, so we thought we'd give them a try. 

Jamie coated them with flour (a zip lock bag with flour add the fish, seal and shake) and then pan fried in some oil until cooked.

The potatoes were cut into 4 and parboiled before being coated in flour and pan fried.

Such a yummy dinner and super easy to make. Add some rainbow salad (coleslaw) on the side and we have a winner for dinner.
