This was a fabulous museum, I loved that it was so spaced out. Little miss loved the playground, if you're visiting make sure you leave plenty of time to play on it. I felt that the information was displayed in a way that was hands on and made it fun to learn. It was good to look back and see what it would've been like back in the day when there was a one teacher school. Little miss loved sitting at the old school desks and looking through the different themed buildings.
There was heaps of information of the SHEARERS STRIKE and heaps of interactive exhibits. I loved the Cobb and Co stage coach and all the old post office boxes. There were so many type writers, little miss loved pretending to type on them.
There is plenty to see and do here, so if you're visiting add it to your list of places to see. Pack a picnic and enjoy what the gardens have on offer. Don't forget to check out Young-un, the only descendent of the TREE OF KNOWLEDGE.
