With no distractions we were up early (5:15am, crazy early) so we had time to walk around the caravan park to have a good look. Next stop was the twisted whisk bakehouse to grab some breakfast and walk around the town searching for the MURALS.
We headed up to the show to collect our photos and prize money (little miss was very excited about the prize money) before we headed to the information centre which also has an ENERGY MUSEUM attached.
Next stop was POTTIQUE LAVENDER FARM.
Next stop was Kingaroy, and lucky it was just down the road for a stop at the BIG PEANUT. We headed to APEX PARK LOOKOUT.
We stopped in at Goomeri for lunch, and the bakery was very busy (which is always a good sign). We had passed through Goomeri on our way out to Nanango so it was nice to stop for lunch. The last stop was home, and after taking the long way home it was nice to get back and unpack. The last stretch was the hardest as little miss was dozing off, and dangling a lavender lolly as the prize for the person who stayed awake seemed to be a good enough prize to keep her awake. It was no surprise that at 6:30pm she was tucked up in bed and fast asleep.
